Je n’avais pas encore dépensé mes étrennes de Noël, mais je me suis rattrapé le weekend dernier en achetant le disque dur multimédia LaCinema Classic HD de 1To. A ma grande surprise, je l’ai trouvé à 169€ en magasin (Mediamarkt Bruxelles) alors qu’il est à 180€ sur Amazon. EDIT : Le prix a maintenant baissé à 158€.
Pourquoi ce modèle précis?
J’ai craqué pour ce modèle en particulier car il peut lire les formats mkv et le son DTS, ceci m’évite donc les étapes fastidieuses décrites dans ce tutorial. De plus, le design est vraiment sympa, puisqu’il a une finition noir laquée et une petite diode bleu en façade. Il se fond donc dans la masse à côté de la PS3 et de l’écran. L’autre gros avantage, c’est qu’il est directement formaté au format NTFS, vous pourrez donc stocker dessus des fichiers dont la taille excède les 4,3 Go sans devoir les découper, comme l’exige le format FAT32.
L’interface de navigation est plutôt sympa également, elle ressemble étrangement à la média cross barre de Sony. Vous naviguez dans cette interface avec la télécommande fournie (piles fournies également).
LaCie n’a pas fait son radin dans le paquet puisque tous les câbles sont fournies avec ! Le câble d’alimentation (heureusement), le câble HDMI, le composite Rouge/Blanc/Jaune, le câble ethernet et le câble usb. Je trouve ça bien, car il n’y a rien d’autre qui m’énerve plus que d’acheter du hardware, et devoir payer en plus des câbles pour pouvoir s’en servir. Il y a également une sortie son en fibre optique, mais ce câble-ci n’est pas fournie en revanche.
Grâce au raccord ethernet branché à la box internet, vous pouvez créer un serveur multimédia entre votre pc et le disque dur multimédia. Et bien-sûr, l’interface vous proposera une mise à jour si une version plus récente apparait.
Si malgré tout, vous arrivez à bout des 1To d’espace de stockage, il y a 2 ports usb (1 en façade et 1 derrière) pour brancher vos autres disques durs dessus. Je l’ai testé que quelques heures pour le moment, et je suis déjà pleinement satisfait de cet achat.
